Education

JK Dance works closely with local schools as part of its dedication to enhancing the welfare of young people. Dance is an excellent activity which allows young people the opportunity to express their own unique identities. Dance is a healthy and fun activity which builds stamina, conditioning, physical coordination and confidence.

We provide schools with a number of options from after school clubs, full day workshops, lunch time clubs and even school fun day entertainment. Whatever the needs of each school, JK Dance will try to provide a solution to meet their requirements.

Colleges

JK Dance is able to provide local colleges with direct commercial consultation from experienced dancers, choreographers and producers for students interested in pursuing a career in commercial dance.

We can advise students in their final year on the best methods and techniques for approaching companies and begin to prepare them for the realities and demands they will face choosing to work in the industry. We are also able to provide master classes from some of the industry’s leading performers and choreographers.

At JK Dance, we are not interested in mass market “club” dancers, we want to help talented dancers to further their own careers and pride ourselves on looking after all our students in a cut-throat industry!
